Tucker Hill is a master-planned community in McKinney developed by Southern Land Company, built around historically inspired architecture and front porches. It sits on US 380 and is part of Prosper ISD. The developer says its builder team has completed sales and it is working with the City of McKinney on the last phase, so most buying here is resale.
My lesson for this kind of neighborhood: architectural standards protect the look of the street, and they also limit what you can change. Before you plan a remodel, a fence or an exterior color change, read the design guidelines and get approval first. That is cheaper than redoing work after a violation notice.

On new construction the builder usually pays my fee, and I confirm it in writing before you sign. Bring me, or register me, on your first visit, because many builders won't add an agent later.
