Brookstone is a McKinney neighborhood in ZIP 75070 with homes built from 2004 to 2007 on recent listings, zoned to Frisco ISD (Elliott Elementary, Wortham Intermediate, Scoggins Middle and Emerson High). Listings describe a community pool, splash pad, playground, parks, picnic pavilion and walking and biking trails, with Gabe Nesbitt Park nearby. In 2025 and 2026, listings ran from $499,900 to $569,999 for homes of about 2,800 to 3,600 square feet.
The lesson here is that the Frisco ISD zoning is a big part of the value, so sellers should lead with it and buyers should verify it. Buyers searching Frisco often filter out McKinney addresses, and buyers searching McKinney may not know these homes feed Frisco ISD schools. When I list in Brookstone, I market to both searches, and when I represent a buyer, I confirm the campus assignments for the exact address with the district.
