Chisholm Trail Ranch is a 625 acre master-planned community in far southwest Fort Worth, west of Chisholm Trail Parkway and south of McPherson Boulevard. Walton sold the final residential phase, 118 acres planned for 490 homesites inside the City of Fort Worth, to Meritage Homes and Green Brick Partners in January 2022, and Meritage and Trophy Signature Homes have been building there as Tesoro at Chisholm Trail Ranch. It is in Crowley ISD and fits buyers who want newer construction with quick access to the toll road toward downtown and the Hulen area.

The lesson here is to check the city on every address. Listings in Tesoro at Chisholm Trail Ranch show some homes with a Fort Worth address and others with a Crowley address, and the city and taxing entities can differ by section even when the schools are the same. If you are buying, I confirm the city, HOA and every taxing entity before you write an offer. If you are selling, remember your home competes with new builder inventory nearby, so pricing against current builder offers matters as much as against older resales.

Chisholm Trail Ranch sits west of Chisholm Trail Parkway, south of McPherson Boulevard, north of Stuart-Feltz Road and east of Old Granbury Road, under 30 minutes from downtown Fort Worth per the land seller.
