The Creek course of Prestonwood Country Club, founded in 1968, sits on Preston Road nearby, and Addison's restaurants and the Dallas North Tollway are a short drive away. It fits buyers who want a Dallas address with Richardson ISD schools, established trees and room to update a home to their own taste.
The lesson here is that most homes are now 50 years old, so condition separates the prices. Two houses with the same square footage can sell far apart depending on the roof, HVAC, plumbing, windows and whether the kitchen and baths have been redone.
