Lakewood, Dallas

Lakewood sits on the west side of White Rock Lake in East Dallas, roughly between Mockingbird Lane, Abrams Road and Gaston Avenue. It was established in 1914, and builders such as Clifford Hutsell and the firm of Dines and Kraft filled it with Tudor, Dutch Colonial, Prairie and Spanish style homes in the 1920s and 1930s, many in native Austin stone.
