Lost Creek Ranch is an east Allen neighborhood in ZIP 75002 whose phases were built around 2002 to 2004, with single-family homes and some single-story duplexes. Listings in 2026 describe three ponds with catch and release fishing, shaded walking trails, large parks and playgrounds, covered pavilions and a private community pool. It fits first-time buyers, move-up families and investors who want Allen ISD at a lower price point than west Allen.

The lesson here is that the same neighborhood serves buyers and renters, which affects both sides of a sale. A 2,152 square foot 2004 home was listed at $515,000 in May 2026 and cut to $499,999 a week later, while a duplex unit leased for about $2,225 a month in summer 2026.
