Lilyana is a 400-acre master-planned community by Hillwood Communities at the northeast corner of Frontier Parkway and Coit Road in Celina, on land the Wells family owned since before the Civil War. Ground broke in July 2016 for 1,250 planned homes, and the amenity center that opened in March 2018 has a 5,400 square foot resort-style pool, cabanas and an outdoor kitchen, with 50 acres of green space and trails across the community. Builders have included American Legend Homes, David Weekley Homes, Highland Homes and M/I Homes.
The lesson in Lilyana is the gap between the city name and the school district. The address says Celina, but Hillwood placed the community in Prosper ISD, and at least one 2025 listing showed Celina ISD campuses for a newer section. Before you buy for a specific school, I confirm the district for the exact lot, because it changes both the campus and the tax rate.
