Legacy Gardens is a 300-acre master-planned community in Prosper, just north of US 380. Risland US Holdings registered the Phase 1 amenity center and entry work in 2019, and Drees Custom Homes and Risland Homes have built there. The amenity center includes an infinity-edge resort-style pool, a fitness studio, playgrounds and walking trails, and it fits buyers who want a newer Prosper ISD home with a short drive to US 380 retail.
The lesson for buyers: because homes here are only a few years old, compare a recent resale with what the same builder charges for new. A 4,334 sq ft home built in 2022 listed at $1,075,000 in February 2026 and was reduced twice to $1,025,000 by May, so watch price history and days on market, not just the list price, before you decide what to offer.
