A young campus with a two-city zone

Panther Creek High School opened in 2022 at 1875 PGA Parkway in north Frisco, the newest of Frisco ISD's 12 high schools. Wilkinson Middle, which opened in 2023, sits on the same parkway at 1892 PGA Parkway. TEA enrollment data published by the Texas Tribune shows the Panthers at 753 students in 2022-23 and 1,352 in 2025-26, so this is still a campus that is filling out its upper grades and traditions.

The zone runs further west than many people expect. When I placed the addresses in Frisco ISD's 2026-27 zone file inside Census ZIP boundaries, about 58% of the Panther Creek addresses fell in 75068, the Little Elm ZIP code, and about 42% in Frisco's 75033. That includes Little Elm neighborhoods and unincorporated Denton County communities, not just the new construction around Fields.

Because zones follow the exact address and the district warns that its online search is not 100% accurate, check every house in Frisco ISD's School Zone Search and then confirm with the campus at 469.633.8200. On the Little Elm side, also confirm the school district itself on the appraisal record, because Little Elm ISD serves many homes in the same ZIP code.

Feeder pattern

Three middle schools, five elementaries

Wilkinson Middle (about 59% of addresses)

Fed by Minett and Miller elementary schools. Wilkinson is the only middle school in the district file whose entire zone goes to Panther Creek, so a confirmed Wilkinson address is a strong signal for the high school too.

Stafford Middle (about 30%)

Fed by Robertson and Phillips elementary schools on the Panther Creek side. Stafford splits: a larger part of its zone continues to Lone Star High. Two homes a few streets apart can share Stafford and still go to different high schools.

Trent Middle (about 12%)

Fed by the part of Newman Elementary that sits in this zone. Trent sends students to three high schools (Panther Creek, Lone Star and Memorial), so read the high school line carefully on any Trent address.

Elementary schools

Minett and Miller each cover roughly 1,600 addresses in the zone; Robertson, Phillips and Newman cover the rest. Robertson and Phillips also serve Lone Star addresses, and Newman serves Memorial and Lone Star addresses as well.

What changed for 2026-27

No address moved into or out of Panther Creek at the high school level between the district's 2025-26 and 2026-27 zone files. I found no announced boundary change for 2027-28 as of October 2026, but the district reviews projections each fall.

Neighborhoods

Neighborhoods we checked against the zone file

<a href="/neighborhoods/the-preserve-at-fields">The Preserve at Fields</a>

A listing address on Wyeth Avenue returns Minett Elementary, Wilkinson Middle and Panther Creek High in the 2026-27 zone data. The Preserve is the gated custom home section of Fields, near PGA Frisco.

<a href="/neighborhoods/frisco-hills">Frisco Hills</a>

Addresses on Frisco Hills Boulevard and Sparrow Hill Drive return Miller Elementary, Wilkinson Middle and Panther Creek High. Frisco Hills has Little Elm mailing addresses in unincorporated Denton County, so its tax picture differs from a home inside Frisco city limits.

<a href="/neighborhoods/sunset-pointe">Sunset Pointe</a>

A listing address on Leisure Lane in Little Elm returns Robertson Elementary, Stafford Middle and Panther Creek High. It is a good example of a Little Elm neighborhood that is in Frisco ISD.

Living near Fields

If you are weighing this zone because of PGA Frisco, Universal Kids Resort or Fields West, our guide to living near Fields covers what is open and what is still planned. Zoning still follows the address, not the master plan name. To compare zones side by side, see Frisco homes by high school and our Frisco ISD school zones guide.

Campus life

Programs and recent moments

Orchestra and world languages

In October 2026 the district highlighted Panther Creek's Hispanic Heritage Month celebration, the orchestra's third, where students from the world languages department introduced each piece before the orchestra played in the school's atrium and cafeteria.

Academics

Frisco ISD's September 2026 list of 120 National Merit Semifinalists for 2027 included three Panther Creek students. Students can also take courses at the district's Career and Technical Education Center, which serves every Frisco ISD high school.

Athletics

For 2026-28 Panther Creek plays basketball and volleyball in District 6-5A with Lone Star and Reedy, and football in 5A Division II, District 4, alongside Frisco, Emerson, Independence and Memorial.

Getting to school

Panther Creek and Trent were on the district's October 2026 list of campuses offering fare-based busing ($500 per student for 2026-27, $175 on free or reduced meals). Wilkinson and Stafford were not on that list, which matters if your student would not qualify for regular district busing.

Read with care
Each ZIP figure covers every home in that ZIP, including Little Elm ISD homes in 75068 and other Frisco ISD zones in 75033. New construction around Fields is priced very differently from 2000s resales on the Little Elm side, so compare closed sales street by street.

FAQ

Common questions

What middle schools feed Panther Creek High School?

Does Panther Creek serve Little Elm addresses?

Transfer rules and capacity can change each year, so if the campus matters, buy inside the zone and confirm with the district before your option period ends.
