Buying a home zoned to Centennial High School

Fed by Gunstream, Curtsinger, part of Shawnee Trail and part of Christie Elementary. Wester also sends a smaller share of its zone to Memorial High. For 2026-27, Wester is also where new students zoned to Nelson Middle are being placed, because Nelson is at capacity.

Fed by Talley and part of McSpedden Elementary. Lawler also feeds Liberty High through the other part of McSpedden, so a Lawler address needs the high school confirmed.

Gunstream, Curtsinger and Talley serve only Centennial addresses in the 2026-27 file. Together they cover about 5,900 of the zone's roughly 7,500 address points.

McSpedden also serves Liberty addresses, Christie also serves Lebanon Trail addresses, and Shawnee Trail serves Centennial, Lebanon Trail and Frisco High addresses. If a listing names one of those three, confirm the full path.

No address moved into or out of Centennial at the high school level between the 2025-26 and 2026-27 zone files, and the Staley closure did not affect this zone. I found no announced Centennial boundary change for 2027-28 as of October 2026.

Listing addresses on Lafayette Drive and Baton Rouge Boulevard return Curtsinger Elementary, Wester Middle and Centennial High in the 2026-27 zone data. Plantation Resort is built around an 18-hole course that opened in 1988.

A listing address on Newgate Drive returns Gunstream Elementary, Wester Middle and Centennial High. Our neighborhood page notes that some sections go to Lebanon Trail instead, so test each address.

A listing address on Nash Lane returns Talley Elementary, Lawler Middle and Centennial High. Richwoods is a 506-acre gated plan by Landon Companies, and its sections do not all share one middle school.

In October 2026 the district profiled Centennial's Peer Assistance and Leadership students, who complete six weeks of mentorship training and then meet weekly with sixth graders at Wester Middle. The district called the Wester and Centennial partnership unique because PALs usually match with feeder elementary schools.

Frisco ISD's September 2026 list of 120 National Merit Semifinalists for 2027 included 17 Centennial students. Centennial students can also take classes at the district's Career and Technical Education Center.

For 2026-28 Centennial plays basketball and volleyball in District 11-5A and football in 5A Division I, District 5, alongside Heritage, Lebanon Trail, Liberty, Lone Star and Reedy.

Centennial, Wester and Lawler were all on the district's October 2026 list of campuses offering fare-based busing ($500 per student for 2026-27, $175 on free or reduced meals) for students who do not qualify for regular routes.
