Chateau du Lac is a gated estate community on the north shore of Grapevine Lake in Flower Mound's 75022 ZIP code. 2026 listings show custom homes from about 10,000 to 15,000 square feet on lots of roughly 2 to 4.2 acres, with build years from 2008 to 2015 and a to-be-built estate on 2.26 acres slated for completion by the end of 2027. Homes are zoned to Lewisville ISD's Liberty Elementary and Flower Mound High, close to Twin Coves Marina and about 10 minutes from DFW Airport per a 2018 report.
The lesson at this price level is that there are very few true comparables. With only a handful of sales a year, two estates can differ by millions because of acreage, lake views, guest houses and finish quality, so an online estimate is close to meaningless. When I price or buy here, I build the comparison from recent estate sales across the lake corridor, adjust for land and views, and plan for longer marketing times and private showings.
