A west Frisco campus that grew fast

Reedy High School opened in 2015 at 3003 Stonebrook Parkway in Frisco. The Lions grew from 915 students in 2015-16 to a peak of 2,299 in 2021-22, according to TEA data published by the Texas Tribune, and enrolled 2,151 in 2025-26. TEA data also shows 17.0 students per teacher in 2024-25, the highest ratio among Frisco ISD's 12 high schools that year.

Almost the entire zone is in 75036, the west Frisco ZIP code. When I placed the addresses in Frisco ISD's 2026-27 zone file inside Census ZIP boundaries, about 87% landed in 75036 and 13% in 75034. That matters for taxes, because 75036 is entirely in Denton County, and parts of the same ZIP belong to other cities and school districts.

Zones follow the exact address, and the district says its School Zone Search is not 100% accurate. Run every house through the district tool, then confirm with the campus at 469.633.6400. I check the school district, the campus and the taxing units for every address before we write an offer, and on the west side all three can change within a short drive.

Feeder pattern

Two middle schools, about half each

Pearson Middle (about 52% of addresses)

Fed by Bledsoe, the Reedy side of Hosp, and part of Nichols Elementary. A smaller slice of Pearson's zone, on the Hosp side, goes to Frisco High instead, so a Pearson address still needs the high school confirmed.

Pioneer Heritage Middle (about 48%)

Fed by Sparks, part of Nichols and the Reedy side of Vaughn Elementary. Pioneer Heritage also sends a share of its zone, through Vaughn, to Wakeland High.

Elementary schools

Sparks is the largest elementary in the zone, followed by Nichols, Bledsoe, Hosp and Vaughn. Nichols splits between Pearson and Pioneer Heritage, but both of those paths stay at Reedy. Hosp also serves Frisco High addresses, and Vaughn also serves Wakeland addresses.

What changed for 2026-27

No address moved into or out of Reedy at the high school level between the district's 2025-26 and 2026-27 zone files, and the Staley closure did not affect this zone. I found no announced Reedy boundary change for 2027-28 as of October 2026.

Neighborhoods

Neighborhoods we checked against the zone file

<a href="/neighborhoods/phillips-creek-ranch">Phillips Creek Ranch</a>

Listing addresses on Highflyer Hills Trail return Nichols Elementary, Pearson Middle and Reedy High in the 2026-27 zone data. Phillips Creek Ranch is a 950-acre master plan, and its size means not every street shares the same elementary and middle school.

<a href="/neighborhoods/frisco-lakes">Frisco Lakes by Del Webb</a>

A listing address on Burnswick Isles Way returns Hosp Elementary, Pearson Middle and Reedy High. Frisco Lakes is a 55+ community, so this matters mainly for buyers comparing tax rates and resale, not school enrollment.

Other 75036 neighborhoods

Parts of 75036 belong to The Colony, Hackberry, Little Elm and unincorporated Denton County, and some homes are in Little Elm ISD. Our address lookup guide shows how to read the city, county and school district on the appraisal record.

I add neighborhoods here only after testing a real address against the district's zone data. Send me the address and I will check it. To compare zones side by side, see Frisco homes by high school and our Frisco ISD school zones guide.

Campus life

Programs and recent results

Academics

Frisco ISD's list of 120 National Merit Semifinalists for 2027, released in September 2026, included 20 Reedy students. Reedy students also take classes at the district's Career and Technical Education Center, which serves every Frisco ISD high school.

Band

The Foundation for Music Education listed the Reedy Wind Ensemble as commended (Class AAAAA) in its 2026 Mark of Excellence national wind band honors, announced by the district in September 2026.

Athletics

For 2026-28 Reedy plays basketball and volleyball in District 6-5A with Lone Star and Panther Creek, and football in 5A Division I, District 5, with Centennial, Heritage, Lebanon Trail, Liberty and Lone Star.

Getting to school

Reedy, Pearson and Pioneer Heritage were all on the district's October 2026 list of campuses offering fare-based busing ($500 per student for 2026-27, $175 on free or reduced meals) for students who do not qualify for regular routes.
