Joining Keurig Dr Pepper in Frisco? Here is the lay of the land.

Keurig Dr Pepper runs two headquarters, one in Burlington, Massachusetts and one in Frisco, Texas. The Frisco office is a 350,000 square foot build-to-suit building at The Star, the Dallas Cowboys' campus, on the north side of the team's practice fields just west of the Dallas North Tollway. The company broke ground on May 23, 2019, in a project NBC 5 reported at $200 million, and moved its Texas headquarters there from Legacy in Plano, where it had been since 1998.

Corgan, which designed the interiors, says the building was planned for more than 1,100 employees and earned LEED CI Gold certification. The Star is a mixed-use district, not an isolated office park, so the streets around the office get busier on Cowboys and event days. Other tenants named at groundbreaking included FM Global, Bank of America, PlainsCapital Bank and RBC Wealth Management.

What is changing: KDP closed its roughly $18 billion acquisition of JDE Peet's on April 1, 2026, and plans to separate into two public companies, Beverage Co. and Global Coffee Co. A June 2026 company release targets the separation for early 2027, and the August 2025 announcement said Beverage Co. (Dr Pepper, Canada Dry, 7UP, A&W) will remain headquartered in Frisco. Frisco ISD serves most of the city and reports 62,755 students. The City of Frisco notes that Prosper, Lewisville and Little Elm ISDs also have territory inside city limits. School zoning follows the address, so confirm the campuses with the district before you write an offer, even if you have no children in school, because it changes the tax rate and future resale.

Texas has no personal income tax. Property tax is where the state collects, and for tax year 2025 a typical Frisco home paid about 1.63% to 1.87% combined, depending on county and school district. On a $650,000 home that is about $10,600 to $12,200 a year before exemptions.

File your homestead exemption with the county appraisal district, generally before May 1. Every Texas school district exempts $140,000 of a homestead's value, and Frisco's city exemption is 20%.
