Heritage Trails is a townhome community by Huffines Communities on Summit Avenue just west of I-35E in north Lewisville, less than a mile from Lake Lewisville. Huffines announced it in 2020 with Gehan Homes and HistoryMaker Homes building walk-up townhomes, and recent listings show homes built in 2021 and 2022 with a community pool and neighborhood parks. It fits first-time buyers, lake lovers and investors who want a newer home with low exterior upkeep.
The lesson here is that investors are part of the market. A May 2026 listing here was tenant-occupied with a lease through March 2027, which is common in newer townhome communities. If you are buying to live in, check the lease end date and the HOA leasing rules before you write the offer; if you are selling a rented unit, I price it for both investor and owner-occupant buyers.
