Wildridge is a master-planned community in the Town of Oak Point, just south of US 380 on the shores of Lake Lewisville. The developer describes about 430 acres and more than 1,600 homes, with two amenity centers, seven miles of trails and two catch-and-release fishing ponds, and the Dallas Builders Association named it Master-Planned Community of the Year in 2020. It fits buyers who want new or nearly new homes with real outdoor space, and sellers here compete with builders who are still releasing homes.
The lesson in Wildridge is the school district line. Some sections are zoned to Denton ISD and others to Little Elm ISD, so two similar homes a few streets apart can feed into different high schools. Before you buy, I confirm the zoning for the exact address with the district, and if you are selling, we put the correct district front and center because buyers filter their searches by it.
