Grandscape is a 400-plus-acre retail and entertainment development on the SH 121 corridor in The Colony, at 5752 Grandscape Blvd. Its anchor, Nebraska Furniture Mart, held its grand opening on May 7, 2015, with 560,000 square feet of retail space, and the district has since added dining, a concert stage and lawn, and a Costco of about 155,000 square feet at Grandscape Blvd. and Spring Creek Pkwy. The surrounding area includes apartments in neighboring Austin Ranch plus established The Colony neighborhoods.
It fits people who want shopping, dining and live music close to home. The lesson: being near a busy district is a plus for many buyers and a minus for others, so if you are selling within earshot of event traffic, show your home at a quieter time and be upfront about it.
