Oak Hill Ranch is a Cross Roads subdivision off Naylor Road, south of US 380, with larger homes on lots of about half an acre in Phase 1. A 4,241 sq ft home built in 2019 on 0.59 acres was listed at $800,000 in September 2025 and went pending. Denton ISD bought about 113 acres of the subdivision's planned future phases for its fifth high school, Mia Price High School, and a career and technical education center.
The lesson here is to study the plan around the lot, not just the house. Under a December 2023 agreement, Cross Roads and Denton ISD are planning the high school, a shared retail site and an east/west collector road funded by Denton County road bonds, and the school is scheduled to open in summer 2027. If you are buying, I look at where traffic and the new road will run relative to your lot; if you are selling, buyers will ask about the campus, and we answer with the published facts.
