The Highlands at Trophy Club

The Highlands at Trophy Club is the newer northern part of Trophy Club, with homes built mostly around 2010 to 2015 on lots from about 0.14 to 0.37 acre. Trophy Club itself began in 1973 as a community around a course designed by Ben Hogan, and Trophy Club Country Club now has 36 holes. Highlands listings show Northwest ISD schools, including Lakeview or Samuel Beck Elementary, Medlin Middle and Byron Nelson High, plus a community pool, parks, pickleball and trails near Grapevine Lake.

The lesson here is to read the utility and assessment lines on every listing. Highlands listings show MUD water and sewer, and one seller noted that the Public Improvement District assessment on their home was completely paid off, which is a selling point because a remaining PID balance adds to the yearly bill. Before you buy, I confirm whether a PID balance remains, the MUD rate and the HOA dues, which ranged from $125 a quarter to $520 twice a year on 2026 listings. That total, not the list price alone, decides the monthly payment.
