Where Schwab's headquarters actually is
Charles Schwab's headquarters campus is on Schwab Way in Westlake, inside the Circle T Ranch development in the northwest corner of the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Dallas Express describes a 70 acre campus with about 1.2 million square feet at Circle T Ranch. The Town of Westlake notes the Front 44 site sits directly north of it.
Westlake is a tiny town. The 2020 Census counted 1,623 residents, and it spans parts of Tarrant and Denton counties. That matters for your search, because almost everyone who works on the campus lives in a neighboring city, and the county line, school district and tax bill can change from one street to the next.

What is on the campus
How long the commute runs

About 5 to 10 minutes off-peak via SH 114 and Byron Nelson Boulevard. The campus sits near the Westlake and Roanoke line.
About 10 to 15 minutes off-peak via SH 114, depending on which side of town you live on.
About 15 to 20 minutes off-peak via Keller Parkway and SH 114, or SH 170 from north Keller.
About 20 to 25 minutes off-peak via FM 1171 or FM 2499 to SH 114. Flower Mound has its own Texava city page if you want the full picture.
Plan on roughly 35 to 45 minutes off-peak via SH 114 and I-35E for downtown Dallas, or SH 114 and SH 121 for Frisco. Many people find that drive is fine twice a week and hard five days a week.

The tax reality if you are coming from out of state
Texas has no personal income tax, and that is often the first number relocating families look at. The honest comparison is your old state income tax bill against your new property tax bill, not against zero.
Here is what that looks like near the campus. Before exemptions, a $1.32M Southlake home at about 1.69% runs roughly $22,300 a year (about $1,860 a month). A $686K Trophy Club home at about 1.68% runs roughly $11,500 a year (about $960 a month). A $423K Roanoke home at about 1.60% runs roughly $6,800 a year (about $560 a month). Rates are per $100 of appraised value for tax year 2025, from the Tarrant Appraisal District and Republic Title's 2025 DFW rate sheet.
Exemptions change the real bill. Every school district must give a $140,000 homestead exemption on your primary residence, and Southlake, Keller, Roanoke and Westlake each offer a 20% city homestead exemption. You apply with the appraisal district, generally before May 1. If you buy after January 1, you can still get the exemption for the rest of that year as long as the seller did not already claim it for that year. Once you qualify, the appraised value of your homestead cannot rise more than 10% a year, starting the following tax year.
